The Tallassee City Network intrastructure has now been updated to a fiber network down to the classroom level. We are now able to connect many more computers to our network than ever before. There has been much work done to make this happen. Thanks, to everyone for their patience during these upgrades.
We are proud to announce our new inititive for the 2006-2007 school year. We will begin to purchase tablet PCs for all classroom teachers who complete the necessary training. Training dates to come in September. This new technology will give classroom teachers the ability to carry their computer everywhere in their classroom to use as their teaching tool.
