Welcome to Tallassee City Schools' Federal Programs Section

The division of Federal Programs encompasses a range of programs financed through the "No Child Left Behind Act of 2001".  These programs provide services to help schools effectively develop, implement and evaluate their plans for the academic success of all children.

The following program components are coordinated to support and provide services under the No Child Left Behind Act:          

  • Title I  - Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged, ELs and Immigrant Students
  • Title II - Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High Quality Teachers and Principals 
  • Title IV - Safe and Drug Free Schools
  • Title X - Homeless Education

 

              


The mission of the Tallassee City School District is to provide a quality education, providing the basis for students to become life-long learners as well as moral, ethical, and compassionate people. A partnership of staff, students, parents, and the community will prepare students to become responsible citizens and productive members of the communities in which they live.
