Congrats to the THS cross country team for their performance at the AHSAA State Cross Country Meet at the Oakville Indian Mounds Educational Park in Danville Alabama. Over 2000 runners from the states seven classifications ran the 5K course distance. Tallassee High 11th grader Woodrow Dean won the Class 5A Individual State Championship. Woodrow finished first with a time of 15:33. As a team, Tallassee finished with a top ten team performance placing 8th overall in the state in 5A!
