Our basketball team is coming off the greatest season in Tallassee High School history. We lost six outstanding seniors, so we have some holes to fill.

Tae Collins, Jamicah Humphrey, and Jalyn Daniels will be called upon to lead this young group. Clayton Gough and Zavion Carr will be expected to bring toughness and rebounding down low for the Tigers. We will expect some contributions from our younger players as well, like Timberland Washington, who is a sophomore guard. Jake Manning will also help bring some much needed outside shooting for the Tigers. We have some young players that we hope will continue to develop and help bring some depth to our team.

It looks to be an exciting year, as we play such teams as Calhoun, John Carroll, Homewood and Hoover. This schedule is really tough, and we will go through some peaks and valleys, but it is all designed to help get us ready for area and region play.

Our teams, here at Tallassee, pride ourselves on play a physical game and being tough. I’ll look for that on December 1st.

This team will have to execute on both offensive and defensive for us to be successful. We don't have much room for error like last season where we could make some mistakes and get away with it because we had so much talent and length. We will have to be in position, execute, and play as hard as we can to be successful this season. We have a young team, but we do have some talented players. Leadership from our seniors will also be a key to the season.

The Tigers begin home play on December 1st against Loachapoka. THS JV boys game starts at 4:30 pm. Season ticket packages are available in the THS office for $80.
