Tallassee Elementary School

On Wednesday, May 27th from 4:30-6:30, Tallassee Elementary opened a drive-through Kindergarten graduation full of smiles, cheering, tears of pride, and excitement to finalize a Kindergarten year students, parents, and teachers will never forget. Parents decorated their car, drove their child through the car line, and watched as their Kindergarten graduate received his or her diploma and awards from the 2019-2020 school year. This drive-through celebration was organized in an effort to provide our Kindergarteners a ceremony despite the COVID-19 pandemic that abruptly ended their school year on March 13th. Students were thrilled to see their teachers in person again, and parents were so proud to watch it unfold. We are very proud of the TES Kindergarten Class of 2020, and we cannot wait to welcome all of our students back! Below you'll find scenes from the evening of celebration.
