WSFA Class Act



Mrs. Nicholson has taught at Tallassee Elementary School for eighteen years. Sixteen of those years were spent educating 2nd grade students. She currently serves as a Title I teacher, family engagement coordinator, K-1st grade virtual facilitator, 1st – 2nd grade virtual tutor, and yearbook coordinator!


She also serves in other capacities such as the following: guidance advisory council, accreditation and compliance monitoring committees, RTI, attendance task force, and teacher mentoring. Throughout her career at T.E.S, she has represented Tallassee City Schools at several Teacher Education Fairs, served as grade level representative, organized AR parties and family nights, and served as a cooperating teacher for several college interns and lab students. In addition, she’s been a member of the budget committee, teacher advisory committee, and textbook selection committee.


Mrs. Nicholson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Tuskegee University! She also has a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery along with countless hours of professional development and training!
