TES faculty and staff had such a great time at our homecoming tailgate! A huge thank you to Mr. Tarver and Coach Justiss for serving as our pitmasters and keeping the grill going, and to Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Hammonds for organizing everything so perfectly. Our 4th graders at TES read Gratitude is my Superpower by Alicia Ortego this week, and it sparked such meaningful conversations about thankfulness. After finishing the book, they created a Gratitude Wall filled with all the big and little things they’re grateful for. From family and friends to pets and favorite activities, their wall is a beautiful reminder of how much we all have to appreciate each day.

Our kindergarten students brought their favorite nursery rhymes to life as they proudly marched in our nursery rhyme parade. This special event was the perfect way to celebrate the end of our literature unit, where students explored classic nursery rhymes, built early literacy skills, and discovered the joy of storytelling.
