Congratulations to Mr. Land Bell for being selected to represent District 4 and Tallassee High School at the 2024 AHSAA Student Leadership Conference. Land is one of 16 juniors across Alabama to be selected to attend. This is a huge honor for him and we are excited for him to have this opportunity.

THS is hosting the 17th annual Capital City Classic Friday and Saturday at MPAC. Over 40 school choirs from around the southeast will be competing, including Eufaula, Chelsea, Auburn, Enterprise, Oak Mountain, Homewood, Opelika, Pike Road, Vestavia Hills, and Hoover.

We are celebrating the 302 College Credits earned by students, an increase in College/Career Readiness, and an increase in ACT scores of 25 and above! The report card score comes from a variety of factors, including attendance, ACT + Writing scores, and academic growth. Tallassee finished second in the Swede Umbach Tournament. Land Bell and Ramon Lozada won gold. Mason Nelson, Christian McCary and Ethan Jones won silver. Avery Brantley won bronze.
Tallassee's Dr. Robby Glasscock was selected as Alabama's representative for the "50 Band Directors Who Make a Difference" in School Band & Orchestra magazine, a national publication for music teachers.
