TCS celebrated Unity Day last Wednesday- a time for all of us to take a stand against bullying and show that kindness, acceptance, and inclusion matter! The bright and bold color orange showed we’re united for a school where everyone feels safe and valued.
Mrs. Bosch, THS Library Media Specialist, hosted a professional learning opportunity at Tallassee High School for media specialists across the state! We welcomed nearly twenty participants for the event, along with Mrs. Susanne Estes, Library Media Content Specialist from the Alabama Department of Education, for a day of professional growth and resource development.

Our TCS Leadership Team engaged in another Lead Like a Pirate book study session this morning! Our discussion and activities sparked meaningful conversations on staying focused, building trust, and celebrating the strengths of our team members. Through strong teamwork and intentional leadership, we’re excited to keep moving our ship forward together!
Today we celebrate Dr. Tessie Williams- Dowell! She is retiring from Tallassee City Schools. Dr. Williams has worked in TCS for twenty-two years. She’s touched the lives of many and we will all miss her!

This school year, students across our district have been enjoying fresh, locally grown hydroponic romaine lettuce from right here in Alabama! We're grateful to Extreme Green Farms in Auburn for delivering this healthy, delicious produce directly to our schools—helping us support both student wellness and local agriculture.
