Good morning! TCS is off to a great start; however, we have been made aware by the Tallassee Police Department that an escaped convict may be in the Tallassee (85) corridor. For that reason, we've put our schools on Heightened Awareness. All is well. This is to keep our students and staff safe.

Tallassee City Schools held its ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Tallassee High School today. Thank you Governor Kay Ivey and Dr. Eric Mackey for joining us to celebrate our new facility.

THS FFA results from state competition yesterday : -Floriculture: 1st place (advance to national competition) -Aquaculture: 1st place (currently there is no national competition for this CDE) -Landscape: 2nd -Meat Evaluation: 8th -Small Engines: 9th FFA Quartet competes tomorrow.
